YES HELLO, Reader!!!

Here we are, another Venus-vibes Friday blessing us with artful splendor. Bask in Beauty and Arte Abundance today, Friend. I come in PEACE and LOVE. The imagery below might be kinda triggering for some so. Ahem:

TRIGGER WARNING: AN ABUNDANCE OV VISUAL PROFANITY BELOW... but don't worry I have a bit ov chat and share some process stills before I reveal the potentially triggering Arte, so please do keep reading...

Okay Reader, I am ready to talk about my current artistic OBSESSION and reveal the new piece now that it is GLUED. (Though admittedly, not yet varnished.) So, like I was saying at the very end ov Transmission #4: How I Joined the Circus, I am well into an 8 week artist WRKSHOP in The Mystery School led by my long-time friend and mentor, Merlin Bronques AKA Black Andy Warhol, Lastnightsparty.com, Father Bronques, Mother... He's had many monikers in the y-eras I've know him. Many eras but the essence ov Father/Mother/Bronques is consistently GODLIKE. A disciplined visionary who knows how to make shit happen and how to talk to people's souls. He is an obsessive Arte beast & a Living Saint waking people up with TRUTH LOTION. He is truly helping a most misunderstood class: us creatives.

So, within The Mystery School WRKSHOP that is wrapping up soon, Mother Bronques will choose the top 20 artists (10 musicians and 10 visual artists) for a final exhibition. As it stands presently I am somewhere in the top 20, still in the running. We all have to adhere to the theme ov the final exhibition. The theme? DUALITY. Mother specified that we are not to simply present opposites, we must RECONCILE them.

Upon hearing the theme I immediately thought about the Aghori Babas. Aghoris are outcast Hindu sadhus who live in the burning ghats cremation grounds, bathing in the ashes ov human cremains and drinking out ov kapalas (human skull caps.) They believe that in order to worship and be ONE with GOD you must accept ALL aspects ov reality INCLUDING the filthy, taboo, and terrifying aspects ov life. They smoke chillums to worship Shiva and practice Left Hand Path tantra. They straight up go out ov their way every day to engage in societally PROFANE activities. Aghoris are known to eat the flesh ov dead dogs and cannibalize humans found floating down the Ganges. They meditate on death while seated upon corpses. The entire purpose behind their taboo practices is to achieve NON-DUALITY: Advaita.

Immediately upon hearing the theme ov DUALITY, I decided that I was going to attempt to reconcile the SACRED and the PROFANE and I knew I had to incorporate an Aghori Baba front and center. SACRED DUALITY BUSTERS.

Normally in my creative process I don't have any preconceptualizations about what I am going to create when I sit down in my Scissor Temple and start cutting up books and composing my analog collages. I just let The Muse speak through me in the moment and the meaning and message ov the Arte reveals itself to me. I let the process dictate the product. The epiphanies usually arise while I am retrospectively scrying into my completed work.

However, in this WRKSHOP, adhering to a theme with a certain artistic mission in mind all while doing weekly/daily art prompts (think actionable art dares that push artists out ov our comfort zones) really made the birthing ov this piece a fucking journey. Like truly a journey. Tears and terror and spiritual AHA!'s and connection and catharsis.

While intently searching through my books and analog clippings for B&W PROFANE imagery and technicolor SACRED imagery I had an epiphany that led me to a full on cry on the floor. I was confronted with the terrifying and beautiful truth that I have already reconciled the SACRED and the PROFANE within myself. I have already busted that DUALITY and can look through empathetic eyes ov compassion and see GOD in EVERYTHING. I re-remembered that great plant medicine teaching: Even the most vile, taboo, terrible, confusing, disgusting, putrid, hateful, unspeakable odious filth has its place and purpose and lessons. Also, EVERYONE has the spark ov divinity within them. We are ALL GOD and each subjective reality tunnel is as special and valid as the next, no matter how conflicting they are. That is a scary world view to have because people don't usually mind being reminded that THEY are DIVINE and valid, but as soon as you tell them their enemies and oppressors are ALSO DIVINE and valid, it tends to get VIOLENT. Don't make me a martyr for LOVE, please.

When we ALL have the SAME PERSPECTIVE we are GOD AWAKE AS ONE and it is just PURE LOVE. We incarnate into bodies to experience DUALITY knowing full well how harsh and confusing it is (GOD is a hilarious trickster and we play incarnation amnesia jokes on ourself in order to HAVE FUN because FUN RULES!) Since we are innately ALL GOD, our journeys through life are all DIVINE and beautiful Godlike events no matter if we harness our Godly creative LOVE powers and learn to co-create with the universe, or if we stray into sucky sleepwalking stagnancy stints. Every moment has the potential to be SACRED and special and there are brilliant blessings hidden in ALL our perceived curses. Yo, even Jesus Christ taught that you are supposed to LOVE your enemies and pray for those who persecute you! Jesus was a DUALITY BUSTER! That is why he also gets front and center SACRED placement in the newest piece, shining his light behind KALI MA and an Aghori Baba.

The PROFANE imagery is all in B&W. I chose things that are societally considered PROFANE. You know: War, Atrocities, Monsters, The Devil, Weirdo Sex Stuff, Homosexuals, Hitler, Hags, Horror, Hate, Nazis, Vomit, Dead Kids, Dying Kids, Hungry Kids, BDSM, Objectifying Dead Women, Old People, Vaginas, Dark Humor, Powerful Elitist Secret Societies, Corrupt Politicians, Porn, Rape, Violence, Mafia Bosses, Oppression, Clowns, Cocks, Witches, Weirdos, Suffering, Soldiers, Rasputin, the Knights Templar, Death Camps and Buttholes, to name a few. A big bundle ov potentially triggering stuff that is considered PROFANE to some, but not ALL. You will likely only consider some ov those things PROFANE, perhaps all ov it, perhaps none ov it. You & your unique subjective perspective get to decide what is PROFANE for YOURSELF, you see?

The SACRED imagery is more personal rather than societal and specifically focuses on SACRED DUALITY BUSTERS. You will see an Aghori Baba, Jesus Christ, KALI MA: Creator & Destroyer ov Universes, Virgin Mother Mary, THE MUSES (Clio/History, Euterpe/Music & Thalia/Comedy) who assist in the Transmutation ov Pain into Arte, SACRED Death: the Great Equalizer, the SACRED LOVE Union between Radha & Krishna, the Double-Headed Aztec Serpent ov Cosmic DUALITY, Plant Medicine, Nature, Beauty, Arte, Angels, Self-LOVE, Life Itself, Soul Eggs, Poetry, Time, the INNOCENCE & JOY ov TEDDY --- ALL SUPER SACRED DUALITY BUSTING ICONS & TOOLS.
