YES HELLO, Reader!!!Top ov the shortcake to ya! Once again I hail from the lush green paradise ov rural Eastern Tennessee, reporting from Mothership's home base. I am spending my TIME savoring birdsong and frog orchestras, sleeping in a massive screen room where the breeze is warm and cozy. The rain is cacophonous on the tin roof and Nature is consistently singing. I've been gardening and homesteading with Mothership. We've got our near-infrared sauna, hot tub, swinging chair, bean garden, ARTE shed, kitties, Houston's healing mineral water & Nature. This place has it ALL. A cozy, creative haven in the mountains. It's been soul good to BE here. To BREATHE here. To listen to the rain and thunder here. I made some analog collages on acrylic paper this week. Mothership previously built a little ARTE shed and she picks up collage source books from the discount racks ov rural, secondhand bookstores to cut up. She enjoys creating analog collages now too. She once went six weeks straight where she completed one collage every single day. It was cool to see her evolution. I LOVE seeing the ways other people put together images printed on paper. Anyways. Here's what I made this week, ALL sourced from books in Mothership's ARTE shed collage library. I decided to dub this my "Illuminance" Series. Since they are glued onto acrylic paper instead ov wood, I am pricing them each at the economical cost ov only $66.66 each, which includes tax and shipping. A morning spent at the exotic petting zoo where I got to hug goats and get swarmed by tame deer with soft velvet antlers, competing for the feed in my cup. I fed apple slices to an elk, a camel, a pony, a zebra, some donkeys, and a zonkey! I touched an emu and a boy cow with really big horns. A steer? Yeah; that guy. Animals are cool. We also went spelunking in Forbidden Cave, 200 feet underground, where we saw a subterranean river, grottos & brain-boggling rock formations. We burned big fires, created flower gardens, and hammered trellises into the ground for bean vines to grow onto. Also, I met a bonafide flat-Earther! So many momentous opportunities to experience the rich diversity ov Nature & LIFE, here in the sticks! I'm off to play in GOD'S garden some more now. We go on shady evening walks around the neighborhood and the kitties follow us since they are indoor/outdoor cats. It's so fun to walk around the mountain smelling flowers and looking for cool rocks with your Mothership & cats that follow you like dogs. May you take the TIME to connect with the living green that inhales the Sun and exhales your LIFE-sustaining lung fuel. May you marvel at the beauty that is ever-accessible, spewing forth everywhere the Sun kisses & beyond. May you enjoy the Sun from the cool shade.
